Benefits of attending
The CIH Eastern Policy event has become a must attend event for the Eastern region over a number of years. This is one of the only regional events alongside our conference that brings together housing professionals from all backgrounds to discuss policy, best practice and challenges specific to the Eastern region.
In the last 12 months, the policy landscape of the sector has drastically changed and will undoubtedly continue to do so, especially in the coming months. There are several of drivers behind this, but a few stand out in particular:
- The Housing Green Paper (due to be published in the Spring)
- The Hackitt Report (due to be published in late May)
- The Homelessness Reduction Act
We will be looking at all the issues around the Green Paper; regulatory updates; Rethinking Social Housing; working in partnership; and what the future looks like for the region.
The day will provide the best of policy learning and strategy, with essential and rare networking opportunities.
Who should attend
This event is aimed at chief executives, directors and executives, board members, head of housing professionals, solicitors, housing managers and housing teams/front-line staff.Exhibition & sponsorship
