Description of event
Along with councils, ALMOs and housing associations across the country, this year we are celebrating the centenary of the Addison Act. The act first put a duty on local authorities to build social housing and led to the first council estates.
Join CIH North East to help us celebrate 100 years of council housing and take this opportunity to share your thoughts about what council housing means to you.
We will have speakers from CIH, Byker Community Trust, Newcastle City Council, CIH and Trevor Healy “winner of CIH Outstanding Contribution to Housing Award".
