This is an informal, relaxed event focused on networking and career development.
 
It is primarily an opportunity to meet other professionals working in your area and in similar roles – to make new friends and to begin to grow your professional network.

You will also hear from speakers who have progressed in their careers, including the 2018 winner of CIH’s Rising Stars competition. You’ll have the opportunity to ask them questions and to discuss their approaches to career development.

There will be free food and drink provided and we are asking existing CIH members to bring a friend or colleague along to introduce them to CIH.

Confirmed speakers
Confirmed speakers include Oliver Harling, Voids Supervisor at Liberty Group/forViva and Rising Stars winner 2018, and Kate Henderson, Head of Strategy & Planning at The Riverside Group. Oliver and Kate will talk about their careers to date and share their tips to progress in your career.

Who should attend

This event is aimed at those who are working in a front line/junior role in housing and based in the North West. It will particularly benefit those who are under 40 or who are new to housing.

Existing members will be encouraged to bring a non-member with them (preferably one who is under 30)

Booking information

This event is free to attend for members and £15.00+ VAT for non-members.

Non CIH members, please note if you cancel within 3 days of the event or do not attend you will be charged the full fee.
Please also note if you cancel up to 5 working days prior to the event you charged a 50% cancellation and admin fee.
If you are a non CIH member and  unable to attend the event and wish for another colleague to attend in your place (name change) you will be charged a £10.00 admin fee
