WHQS statistics show more homes meeting the standard
Statistics released today show that compliance with the Welsh Housing Quality Standard has increased from 79% to 86%.
Matt Dicks, director of CIH Cymru, said:
“It is very encouraging to see an increase in compliance with the Welsh Housing Quality standard rising from 79% in March 2016 to 86% in March of this year. Implementing the standard is playing a pivotal role in increasing the quality of social housing stock across Wales. In turn, increasing the fuel efficiency, safety and amenities within properties. We look forward to working closely with members as they continue to implement the standard, improving homes and to a standard that would make them highly desirable places to live.”
