The introduction of the LHA cap to the social rented sector: impact on young people in Scotland

18/05/2017

Description

CIH Scotland, in partnership with the Scottish Government, commissioned Indigo House Group to carry out a piece of research into the impact of the introduction of the LHA cap to the social rented sector on young people in Scotland.

The aim of the research is to assess the likely extent of the impact, estimating how many young people in Scotland will be affected and what the financial implications will be. It also explores options for mitigation work that can be undertaken by the housing sector or supported by the Scottish Government.

The Interim Report Executive Summary is now available to download below, with further findings due to be published in the summer of 2017.
