To provide an introductory overview of the homelessness and allocations legislation in England and how it is works in operational services.
What you'll learn
The course will cover the duties of local housing authorities under Parts VI and VII of the Housing Act 1996,how these can be met and what the future challenges are.
Who should attend
Anyone who is new to working in homelessness and allocations, and people who work directly with local authority teams providing these services, such as RP lettings staff.
Duration: 1 full day
