Overall direction and leadership is set by the governing board and with Geraldine Howley's second and final term as chair being completed this year, we are pleased to share we're seeking an exceptional new chair who can lead the organisation through 2024 and beyond.
The governing board of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) is charged with the leadership and management of the business of CIH. This includes:
Applicants are welcomed from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences and will be expected to demonstrate a strong track record of achievement in their field and as chair or vice chair of trustee/non-executive boards.
You are likely to be accustomed to operating at a senior level within an organisational setting and have a strong network of contacts and experience of influencing within and outside of an organisation.
