South East Consortium (SEC) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the housing sector. We’re more than just a procurement framework provider and have a host of additional initiatives focused on influencing solutions for the sector’s future. This includes our Next Generation Leaders Programme, which is part of our £250,000 investment in people.

By joining the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), we’ve committed to investing in the continual professional development of our staff, members and wider network. CIH helps us support our network with training sessions, events and updates on professional policy and practice as they happen.

How CIH membership is supporting the Next Generation alumni

Offering CIH membership to our Next Generation Leaders has provided each individual with the pathway to continual development as they progress into leadership roles in the upcoming years. They’re able to join webinars and conferences, access recordings, blogs and timely housing content created specifically for members, supporting the growth and development of each leader once the course has been completed. CIH membership also offers a huge networking opportunity to meet like-minded individuals committed to careers in the housing sector and is a prime example of how collaborating with the CIH has made a difference to our own training offer.
