The changing world of regulation

The Chartered Institute of Housing is delighted to bring you our next CIH Building Better Boards event which focuses on regulation. In what has been a year of big announcements, with regulation set to shift, it is vital that the sector responds and prepares early for any changes.

Why attend?

An important role of a board member is not only to be aware of these changes, setting the direction of travel for the organisation, but also to be well versed on other developments in the sector.

Phil Morgan, an expert in regulation and tenant involvement, will be opening our session and will talk us through the ups and downs of the last 12 months and how we can learn from any upgrades and downgrades.

We will be hearing the real experience of regulatory turnaround from a housing association and a panel debate which gives you the opportunity to ask any questions that they may have.

Karen Doran will join us to provide an update from the Regulator for Social Housing, but also provide a glimpse into the future and the things that boards need to be preparing for now.
