A virtual event celebrating LGBTQ+ history month

As part of LGBTQ+ history month running throughout February. The CIH is working with partners from across the sector to highlight the experiences of LGBTQ+ housing professionals and residents.

We are delighted to bring you our event ‘Building the House of Stonewall’ which seeks to inspire action on key LGBTQ+ issues across the sector.

This event is proudly supported by the National Housing Federation and HouseProud

Why attend?

We will hear about the current situation across the sector, showcasing the work of organisations currently working in this space. We will also share the lived experiences of LGBTQ+ people who have been impacted and made homeless as a result of discrimination over the last 50 years.

Join us to learn more, see how we as a sector can improve and improve the experiences that LGBTQ+ encounter in the social housing sector.

Delegates will be given the opportunity to verbally participate during the session. Please ensure that you are in a quiet, noise-free environment, we also recommend using a microphone and a speaker headset.
