Social housing is fast, full-on, and emotionally demanding.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, 12-18 May 2025, we are hitting pause to focus on real talk, real tools and real support.
Working in social housing is rewarding, but it also comes with unique pressures, high workloads, emotionally charged situations and ever-changing demands.
This event will bring together young housing professionals and mental health and wellbeing experts for an honest conversation about managing mental health in the workplace.

In our challenging work environments we over stretch ourselves because we care about those whom we support and we want to do our best for them. Sometimes this comes at a personal cost that we do not appreciate until we become exhausted either mentally, physically or both. Burnout is how it is termed, and the experience is very real for many.
The breath allows us to notice when we are overextending ourselves, it helps us create space for rest and restoration.
