Join us to learn what government, local authorities, housing associations and charities are doing to help prevent refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, and those with ‘no recourse to public funds’ (NRPFs) from becoming homeless.
The past decade has seen a number of conflicts that have triggered humanitarian and refugee crises across the world. Many Syrian, Afghani and Ukrainian refugees have arrived in the UK and Ireland seeking safety. The arrival of refugees brings with it challenges for housing providers to identify safe and secure accommodation for those fleeing their home.
This session will explore what government, local authorities, housing associations and charities are doing to help provide appropriate accommodation and provision for refugees, migrants, asylum seekers and NRPFs.
