Could you be an ambassador for CIH, an inspiration to members and a champion for the wider housing industry? If so, we’d like to hear from you.

Nominations are now open for applications from members to become the next vice president of CIH.

This is a significant role at CIH. The vice president will work closely with Evie Copland, president-elect for 2026, and is expected to succeed Evie after her term in office from CIH's annual general meeting (AGM) in 2027.

Nominees for vice president must:

  • Be an advocate of the profession and professionalisation in the sector.
  • Demonstrate understanding of CIH charitable objects and strategy.
  • Demonstrate a distinguished career within the profession with evidence of meeting the professional standards.
  • Show senior (managerial) expertise and inspirational leadership.
  • Show substantial experience and contribution as a member of CIH.

Eligible nominees will be put forward for election by CIH members in May 2026. The member elected will take office with effect from the CIH AGM in October 2026. It is then expected that the vice president will become the next president at the CIH AGM in 2027, after serving a year as vice president.

Nominations open 9am, 15 April 2026 and close 5pm, 13 May 2026.
