CIH is supporting the 16 Days of Activism campaign

At CIH we believe that everyone has the right to be safe and free from violence at home and in public - so we are incredibly proud to support The United Nations 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. We have committed to an ‘act of activism’ a day for the duration of the campaign, raising awareness of violence against women and girls and how we can work together in the housing sector to eliminate it.

We not only intend to support this campaign for 16 days, but way into the future. We all have a part to play, and at CIH we will continue to work with housing professionals to help recognise, respond to, and support those affected by domestic abuse in all its forms: physical, psychological, sexual, financial, and emotional. We strive to help improve existing housing policies and practices to ensure positive outcomes for victims and survivors.

I urge you to get behind the 16 days campaign and to pledge never to commit, excuse, or silence any form of violence against women and girls. You can go a step further and join the hundreds of organisations that have already signed up to our Make A Stand against domestic abuse campaign today.
