Just launched, the new CIH member bursary scheme

The cost of living crisis is having a huge effect across society. Everyone is facing challenges as prices rise on everything – from shopping, energy bills, digital subscriptions etc.

At the Chartered Institute of Housing, we wanted to come up with a way to open the door to membership for individuals who would really benefit from everything we have on offer. That’s why we are excited today to launch our member bursary scheme, creating 100 free membership bursaries for one year so everyone, regardless of their circumstance can experience being part of CIH.

Funded by our incredible supporters’ network, the bursary covers the cost of a standard CIH membership for one year, opening the door to our invaluable network to give individuals the opportunity to learn, develop, innovate and thrive with us. Each bursary recipient will have access to our full suite of member benefits, including our wealth of member-exclusive events, professional standards tools and career development resources, mentoring, plus much more.

Anyone can apply for a membership bursary. It has been created for individuals who, without this opportunity, would be unable to join us. It’s a chance for us to spread the opportunities and benefits that come with being part of our member network, to give those who might otherwise be unable a chance to develop professionally and build their personal profile, knowledge and skills.
