A new resource for Northern Ireland members

You asked, we listened.

Everything we do here at CIH is for the benefit of our members and their tenants. During discussions with our team, our Northern Ireland members asked if it was possible to provide a one-stop list of resources available specifically in Northern Ireland; a list they could refer to and use to help find relevant support for their customers.

Last week, we launched a new support directory page in our Knowledge Hub for our Northern Ireland members. On there, you can find contact and website information for a range of services, such as Age NI for older person support; Aware, a charity working exclusively for depression and bipolar; and more general support services such as The Mix, which provides support services for a range of challenges. The list is by no means complete – and probably never will be as we continue to add to it.

We all know tenants are facing more challenges than ever and so the remit of a landlord is growing to cover much more than just a rent collection and repairs service. We hope this list can be a starting point for finding services for customers who need extra support when resource internally is not available.

If you can see a resource we’ve missed, we’d love to hear from you. There’ll be a lot of local resources that we haven’t found yet, and so we hope you’ll work with us to get this to its best for other members. Please get in touch if you want to add something.

Watch this space as we create directories for all our nations and regions over the coming months.
