Let’s build on the momentum of the past 16 days and keep making a stand

It’s been humbling to read some of the stories shared during the United Nations 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.

We all have a part to play in ensuring that people are safe, whether that be in their home, place of work or in public. Within the housing sector, CIH is working with housing professionals to help them recognise, respond to, and support those affected by domestic abuse in all its forms. Working with key decision makers and with our members we are committed to strengthening housing policy and practice to ensure positive outcomes for all.

Whatever our job, we each have a personal role to play in ensuring that we call out inappropriate behaviour or attitudes and speak up for those with less of a voice. As the official 16 days draws to a close why not join our Make A Stand against domestic abuse campaign today.
