- The roles and responsibilities of those accountable for the business that do not operational control of it
- How individuals in other roles can be effective
- The importance of setting aside other interests to govern only on behalf of the business.

He is a long established member of the CIH Housing Academy, and has other roles with the CIH such as chairing a Chartered Membership Professional Interview Panel and as a Registered Mentor.
