ODCGIS have worked with 100 Social Housing Providers across the UK offering a GIS Data Capture Service along with their GIS Managed Service. Housing H&S Compliance UK Ltd (HHSC) are a specialist training and consultancy company providing UK-wide corporate safety and tenant safety compliance services. They offer training that has been specifically designed for organisations operating within the social housing sector as well as offering support, advice, guidance and bespoke consultancy services which meet the needs of sector organisations.
HHSC’s key focus is around tenant and resident/landlord safety compliance in social housing; they really want to support organisations to understand their responsibilities and be clear about what they need to be doing to ensure that, primarily their tenants are safe in their homes, but also what the organisation needs to do to meet the myriad of regulatory requirements as well as the standards set by the Social Housing Regulators.
As part of their commitment to supporting organisations in understanding their tenant and resident safety responsibilities, the team at Housing H&S Compliance UK Ltd formed The Social Housing Safety Network Scotland. The Network’s main focus is to share the skills, knowledge and experience of industry leading practitioners to support network members in understanding their statutory obligations, the importance of measuring their organisation's performance and how to evidence compliance for tenant and resident safety. The Network is open to housing associations, housing co-operatives and local authorities based in Scotland and has around 50 organisations as members.
