With significant implications for managers and operational staff, this course will support you to understand the changes from the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023 and preceding White Paper, Building Safety Act 2022 and complaints processes in social housing.

There is much change in social housing; the return of Consumer Regulation, enhancement of complaints procedures, building safety, review of the Decent Homes Standard and more. As well as the need for better tenant engagement, ensuring of respect and tackling stigma.

Whilst formally the White Paper is only applicable to England, this online training course will share many principles of good practice that would be beneficial to all part of the UK.

His housing experience includes operational and strategic roles, consultancy and training. He receives consistently positive feedback for his training, described as relaxed and conversational yet highly professional.

His qualifications include the Professional Qualification in Housing and a Masters Degree with Distinction in Housing Studies.
