This interactive one-day course explores the origins and purpose of the Competence and Conduct Standard, why it is being introduced, and what it means for landlords and housing professionals. Through presentations, whole-group discussions, and case studies, delegates will:

  • Understand how the standard fits within the current regulatory environment.
  • Identify what policies, processes, and actions are required by organisations.
  • Explore how to carry out skill scans and use templates for workforce development planning.
  • Consider how to evidence compliance to the regulator, not just through processes but also through outcomes.
  • Reflect on wider aspects of conduct and professionalism, and how these link to the CIH professional standards.
