Before you proceed to the next step, you must be logged into your MyCIH account. Never logged in before? Follow the steps here.

You’ll only be able to do this once you have logged into MyCIH. Then go to the verification image below, click and copy the code (you’ll also get the code emailed to you).
- Complete the joining form. Please ensure you fill in:
- Professional/vocation as qualification/course level and what are you studying
- Year of course as ‘already qualified.’
- Where do you study as ‘Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH).’
- Verify my student status – fill in your unique verification code
- Choose your TOTUM PRO bundle and pay.

TOTUM stands for all in Latin; this means if you sign up for the TOTUM PRO card, you’ll get all the benefits plus more.
Ensure you are logged into the CIH website with your current CIH member credentials. Once you have done so, return to the TOTUM PRO page and click on the "GET VERIFICATION CODE" image beneath the promotional banner. You will be taken to a new browser with your unique verification code. Copy it and progress with your purchase. The code will also be sent to the email address linked to your CIH membership. Please check your spam or junk mail. If you have tried the above and still can't access your verification code, don't hesitate to contact us: 024 7685 1700 or email customer@cih.org.
Your card should usually arrive within ten working days from when you place your order. Your card will be sent to your chosen delivery address, and you can check this on the 'track your card' section of your TOTUM profile. If your card hasn't arrived after 14 days, please create a ticket to let TOTUM know here. When submitting your ticket, please reconfirm your address and if any changes need to be made to the original address you selected.
The expiry date is on the front of your TOTUM PRO card. It will be valid for one, two or three years, depending on the length of time you purchased. You will be contacted before your card is due to expire to remind you of its expiry and invite you to renew. Renewals of your TOTUM card can be made within 120 days or less of the current expiry date or once your card has expired. You must be a CIH member to renew your card.
As a TOTUM member, it is advisable to have the app installed on your smartphone to take your discounts with you. Plus, you will receive all the hottest offers and discounts straight to your phone by enabling your push notifications.
You can log in to redeem your TOTUM discounts via the TOTUM website or on the TOTUM app; click login and enter the email address and password you registered with. You will need to log in with the same email address you initially registered with.
