CIH Cymru announces second ministerial roundtable

The Minister for Housing and Regeneration, Rebecca Evans AM, will attend a roundtable discussion at Cardiff Community Housing Association on 21 June.

The session is the second in a series of informal roundtables with CIH Cymru members and partners that the minister has agreed to take part in around Wales.

The aim is to allow housing professionals at all levels to discuss the key issues facing the housing sector. This informal meeting is an opportunity to highlight the challenges facing communities where you work and support ways to address through positive chance.

It’s fantastic that the minister has agreed to take part in these informal roundtables with CIH Cymru members. It demonstrates that the Welsh Government is serious about listening to the voice of the sector and hearing about the issues that members face on a daily basis. They are the ones at the coalface, delivering on the government’s strategy to tackle homelessness, and the shortage in supply of social and affordable housing.
