Government consultation on 2023 rent increases

The government has launched a six week consultation on capping social housing rent increases in 2023. We have issued an initial response to the publication but we are keen to hear member views to help shape our response.

There are a number of ways you can do this:

• Complete our online survey
• Email us with your thoughts (please put ‘rents consultation’ in the subject header)

In addition, we are organising a roundtable with DLUHC officials and can arrange further member discussions as needed. Please email us if you would like to put yourself forward for this.

The consultation runs until 12 October. To allow us to collate our submission please share your views with us by 5 October.
