Stephen Cook, chair of CIH’s professional standards committee said:
“Every day, housing professionals create opportunities for people to find a home from which they can build the rest of their lives. The work we do is so important, which is why the professional standards committee exists, to help continuously develop CIH’s professional pathway and review the continuing professional development offer.
“As we move forward with details set out in the Social Housing White Paper, it is an important time for the sector to focus on professional standards and it was fantastic to see the commitment of so many people that applied to join the committee. I am really looking forward to welcoming the new members and working with them to drive up professional standards across housing.”
