Tyfu Tai Cymru launches Housing Voices report
The report demonstrates the challenges being experienced by housing professionals across Wales but equally shows where different regions are facing distinct challenges.
TTC held workshops asking people for their views on the greatest challenges facing the housing sector as well as specific questions relating to the three themes of the project:
- building the right homes to meet demand
- making sure housing is always a priority for local government
- demonstrating housing’s role in keeping people well and healthy
The events, attended by more than 70 practitioners working both within, and in partnership with the housing sector, provided attendees with the opportunity to discuss and then vote on areas of activity which would be most beneficial for the project to focus on in the coming years.
The responses captured within the report will play a crucial role in informing the work programme of the project in both the immediate and long-term future.
