This eLearning module will focus on skilled, aiming to help you decode its meaning and significance in practice.

We will explore the six core elements of this characteristic (customer service; resilience; change; technology; influence and problem solving), helping you understand the skills required to perform your job competently, as well as identify how you can demonstrate your effectiveness.

It will guide you in soft and hard skills, reflecting on how you use these in your role and how you can develop them further.

What will I learn?

This eLearning module will:

  • Understand what skills are useful to a housing professional and how these skills can be enhanced

  • Identify key pathways to support the development of your skills base for personal development, which will, in turn, benefit your role in your organisation and with customers and stakeholders

  • Develop an awareness of the six professional characteristics and what they look like in practice

  • Assess what these characteristics mean and how they can be applied to your role to promote a collaborative approach across organisational boundaries, cross functional teams and cultures for an enhanced customer experience.

How will I learn?

You’ll be faced with a range of tasks, scenarios and activities to critically reflect on your own behaviours and assumptions, exploring examples and new techniques to help you develop.

This eLearning module is interactive and includes videos, case studies/real-life examples where you can test yourself, download information, reflect and go into as much detail as is right for you.
