New College Durham is well known by local employers and has a successful record of delivering housing qualifications for over 40 years.
The College has an excellent reputation and works successfully with the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) to deliver the Level two and Level three Certificate in Housing Practice
The college provides a range of housing apprenticeships and recent official publication of achievement data places New College Durham in the top ten percent nationally for apprenticeship achievement.
We offer a Foundation Degree in Housing and Communities, designed to meet the full professional requirements of CIH, which means that the knowledge and skills students will gain are relevant and responsive to the needs of employers in this specialist sector. During the course of the programme, students will be able to apply to access CIH membership at a concessionary rate.
CIH qualifications are delivered by approved study centres. Centres will support you on your journey, working to the specification and the learning outcomes for each course.
If you'd like to study with this centre, please visit their website or contact them to find out more and start your journey today.
The qualification will provide you with the technical knowledge and understanding across a broad range of frontline housing practices at an operational level. The qualification explores general and specialist areas of housing along with housing policy and law.
